This solution is a collaboration between Asigra and Smartways, combining award-winning agentless, disk-based, WAN-optimised backup and recovery software with an award-winning portal technology for simplified management and maintenance of complex backup environments. This combined solution delivers a powerful and flexible on-premises backup and recovery capability that integrates seamlessly within most IT environments. Smartways has deployed and supports Asigra within its own secure online backup service, and is now launching TouchPoint On-Premises. This service is for those clients wishing to take advantage of the benefits offered by this proven combination and deploy a solution in-house rather than continue with tape based backup or adopt backup as an online service. Ideally suited to complex networks, remote office branch office (ROBO) configurations or customer requiring rapid reliable recovery by using disk-based backup.
